Sweeping strokes, curved forms and painterly marks in warm gold, bronze, muted taupe and layered blues appear across the crown, upper side panels and front pocket. Against the solid navy body, the artwork feels almost like fragments of a larger abstract painting — revealed selectively rather than allowed to cover the entire piece.
From the front, Horizon is particularly restrained. The broad navy surface remains uninterrupted, while a narrow section above the zipped pocket introduces flashes of gold, blue and taupe. A further glimpse follows the upper edge of the backpack, creating just enough visual interest to distinguish the silhouette. From the side, considerably more of the artwork emerges: broad brushwork, sweeping golden arcs and textured marks give the design movement and a more expressive character.
