The Crescendo Women’s Quilted Jacket (No. 02) brings the collection’s expressive artwork to a lightly padded outer layer, pairing sculptural pattern with a restrained palette of midnight blue, charcoal, black, ivory and warm ochre-gold.
Across the body, sweeping forms move into one another in a composition that rewards a closer look. Sculptural calabashes and decorative vessels emerge among broad petal-like curves, curling spirals, botanical details and intricate hand-drawn markings. Rather than sitting apart as individual motifs, the forms overlap and transform into one another, giving the artwork a continuous sense of movement from collar to hem.
The larger scale of the jacket gives Crescendo particular presence. A tall ochre vessel rises prominently across the front, surrounded by sweeping curves and smaller decorative forms, while the back provides an uninterrupted canvas for the composition to unfold.
