The Bathurst Puzzle — Keepsake Edition (No. 01) transforms the collection’s richly layered landscape into an absorbing puzzle designed to reveal itself piece by piece.
Across the composition, a winding river travels through forested hills towards distant mountains, passing a waterside cabin along the way. Around the landscape, sculptural branches and berries, sweeping geometric forms and fine linear details move through deep navy, midnight blue, forest and olive green, warm ivory and muted gold. A slender golden symbol of authority rises through the composition, adding another detail to discover as the image takes shape.
Bathurst is particularly suited to the puzzle format. Broad areas of navy, ivory and gold and distinctive geometric forms provide natural visual landmarks, while the river, foliage, trees and smaller illustrated details create progressively more intricate areas to assemble. What begins as individual fragments of colour and line gradually becomes a complete landscape — making the process of putting it together part of the discovery.
Available in a range of piece counts, from an approachable 30-piece format to an immersive 2,000-piece challenge, the puzzle is made from pre-die-cut chipboard with precisely interlocking pieces and a glossy printed finish designed to preserve the depth, colour and detail of the original Bathurst artwork.
The Keepsake Edition is presented in a white metal tin, with the completed Bathurst No. 01 artwork displayed on the lid. Designed to remain useful and attractive long after the final piece is placed, the tin provides a considered way to store the puzzle between sessions and makes the edition particularly suited to gifting.
