Across the exterior, a luminous river winds through deep green hills towards rose-toned mountains, passing a secluded timber cabin at the water’s edge. Tall trees rise through the landscape while berry-laden branches extend into the foreground. Around them, sweeping arches, circles and fine linear details divide and frame the scenery, giving the design its distinctive balance of landscape and geometry.
The palette is particularly striking: dusty rose and blush sit alongside burgundy, olive and forest green, warm ivory and burnished gold. A slender golden sceptre rises through one side of the composition, adding an unexpected vertical detail among the softer curves of the surrounding artwork.
