The Bathurst Arctic Fleece Blanket (No. 05) brings the collection’s richly layered landscape across a generous expanse of soft fleece, transforming the blanket into something that feels almost like a piece of textile art.
Across the composition, a winding river travels through forested hills towards distant mountains, while a waterside cabin, sculptural botanicals and finely drawn trees emerge among sweeping geometric forms. Burgundy, rose, olive, warm ivory and muted gold move through the design, creating a palette that feels both expressive and remarkably at home in an interior.
There is more to discover the longer one looks. Landscape gives way to abstraction; curved forms intersect with fine linear details; branches and berries appear between larger passages of colour. The result is a design with presence from across the room and intricacy at closer range.
