A small detail that brings the Ascendant composition to the table.
The Ascendant Cork Coaster Set (No. 02) carries the collection’s distinctive geometry into an object designed for the everyday rituals of the home or office.
Across a warm cream ground, sweeping forms, textured circles and fine linear details meet in a considered palette of forest green, rust, charcoal, ochre and warm gold. On the coasters’ compact square format, the Ascendant pattern becomes almost a series of individual compositions, with different elements coming into focus beneath each glass or cup.
Each coaster pairs a smooth, high-gloss surface with a natural cork backing. The printed surface gives the design clarity and depth, while the cork underside helps protect tables, desks and other surfaces from scratches and keeps the coaster comfortably in place.
Presented as a coordinating set of four, they work equally well on a coffee table, dining table, bar cart or executive desk. When not in use, their slim profile allows them to stack neatly without taking up unnecessary space.
Distinctive enough to leave out, practical enough to use every day.
