The Ascendant Backpack (No. 02-A) brings the distinctive language of the Ascendant Collection to a practical everyday silhouette, pairing a warm cream ground with carefully placed passages of the collection’s richly detailed pattern.
Rather than covering the backpack entirely, Ascendant appears selectively across the front pocket, crown and side panels. Sweeping forms, textured circles and fine architectural lines move through a palette of forest green, rust, charcoal, ochre and warm gold. Against the quieter cream body, the pattern takes on an almost inset quality — expressive where it appears, restrained everywhere else.
From the front, the composition is particularly measured. The generous expanse of cream keeps the silhouette clean, while the patterned pocket creates a distinct focal point below. Turn the backpack and further sections of Ascendant emerge along the sides and upper panels, allowing the design to reveal itself differently from each angle. Black zips, straps and trim provide crisp definition and a useful counterpoint to the warmth of the pattern.
