Across its two sides, Bathurst reveals different parts of the composition. One brings distant mountains into view alongside sculptural foliage, architectural lines and sweeping geometric forms in deep navy, midnight blue, olive and forest green, warm ivory and muted gold. Turn the wallet over and the composition shifts: the winding river emerges between abstract forms while branches laden with dark berries cross the landscape.
The smaller proportions give Bathurst No. 01 a different character. From a distance, the wallet reads primarily through colour, shape and movement; only on closer inspection do the mountains, river, trees and botanical details begin to reveal themselves. The softly textured surface adds another layer of dimension, allowing the artwork to feel integrated into the object rather than simply placed upon it.
A full zip-around closure keeps everything neatly contained, opening to reveal dedicated space for cards, notes, coins and other small essentials. At 7.87" × 4.33", it offers generous organisation while maintaining a streamlined profile that slips easily into a handbag, tote or work bag.
