Across the exterior, sweeping forms move into one another in a composition filled with sculptural calabashes, decorative vessels, broad petal-like curves, curling spirals, botanical details and intricate hand-drawn markings. Rather than appearing as separate motifs, the forms overlap and transform into one another, allowing a vessel to emerge from a curve, a spiral to disappear into another form and smaller details to reveal themselves gradually across the surface.
The generous proportions of the bag give Crescendo particular presence.
