The Ascendant Umbrella (No. 02) brings the expressive geometry of the Ascendant Collection to an everyday essential designed for changing weather.
Across a warm ivory ground, sweeping forms move between circles, elongated curves and finely drawn linear details. Burnished gold, rust, charcoal and deep olive introduce richness to the composition, while black architectural elements give the design structure. The result feels almost painterly across the umbrella’s broad canopy — graphic from a distance, with smaller details revealing themselves up close.
The pattern takes on a particularly striking character when the umbrella is open, with the individual panels interrupting and reframing the composition in unexpected ways. Against grey skies and dark outerwear, its lighter ground and earthy palette offer distinction without becoming overly bright.
Made from 100% polyester pongee, the canopy is waterproof, quick-drying and supported by eight fibre ribs. A semi-automatic mechanism allows the umbrella to open easily with one hand, while the rubber handle and wrist strap provide a comfortable grip when moving through the day. A coordinating sleeve keeps it neatly contained when not in use.
