The Waterford Cork Coaster Set (No. 01) brings the composed, architectural character of the Waterford Collection to a set of everyday objects designed to remain comfortably on display.
Deep navy and midnight blue form the foundation of the design, joined by softened blue and cream marble-like passages. Fine gold-toned lines trace arches, circles and sweeping forms across the surface, while small botanical details provide an unexpected softness among the stronger geometry.
On the coasters’ compact square format, Waterford becomes particularly striking. The pattern is closely framed, bringing its contrasts into focus: curved forms against precise lines, deep fields of blue against pale stone-like passages, and delicate botanical motifs appearing within the architecture of the composition. Each coaster reads almost as a small study of the larger Waterford design.
Each piece pairs a smooth, high-gloss surface with a natural cork backing. The printed surface gives the layered blues, cream and gold-toned details clarity and depth, while the cork underside helps protect tables, desks and other surfaces from scratches and keeps the coaster comfortably in place.
Presented as a coordinating set of four, they bring a considered detail to a coffee table, dining table, drinks tray or executive desk. Their palette works particularly well alongside dark wood, marble, clear glass and metallic accents, while their slim profile allows them to stack neatly when not in use.
Waterford — a small study in structure, colour and quiet grandeur.
