The Foresight Backpack (No. 01-B) pairs the architectural language of the Foresight Collection with a deep teal ground, creating a particularly composed expression of the design.
Foresight was conceived around the visual language of thinking, building and possibility. Fine diagrammatic lines, geometric forms, steps, pathways and interconnected points move across a warm ivory ground, punctuated by deep teal, forest green, aubergine and muted gold. Look more closely and further details emerge — suggestions of plans, movement, connections and ideas taking shape.
Here, the pattern is used with deliberate restraint. The expansive teal body remains largely uninterrupted, while narrow sections of Foresight appear across the front pocket, crown and side panels. This selective placement gives the backpack a clean silhouette from a distance, with the intricacy of the collection becoming more apparent on closer inspection.
The deep teal ground is especially well suited to Foresight. Because the colour already appears within the pattern, the printed and solid sections feel naturally connected, while aubergine and muted gold provide subtle points of contrast. Black zips, straps and trim add definition without disturbing the overall composition.
Viewed from the front, No. 01-B is notably restrained: a slim band of pattern crosses the pocket and another traces the upper edge. From the sides and crown, more of the design is revealed — geometric structures, fine lines and interconnected forms appearing almost like fragments of a larger plan.
The result feels purposeful rather than decorative: a practical everyday piece with enough detail to reward a second look. It moves easily between the office, university, commuting and travel, while retaining the sense of curiosity and forward movement at the heart of Foresight.
