A refined expression of the Aurelia collection, the Aurelia Backpack pairs a warm ivory exterior with carefully placed sections of the collection’s sweeping, painterly design.
From the front, the composition is deliberately restrained. The expansive ivory body remains almost entirely uninterrupted, allowing the clean silhouette and soft neutral ground to take precedence. Aurelia is concentrated across the front pocket, where flowing formations of cream, warm gold, soft grey and deep blue create a striking focal point.
Within the pocket, the artwork moves in broad, fluid sweeps. Gold brings warmth and luminosity, while a concentrated passage of deep blue introduces depth and contrast. Against the simplicity of the ivory exterior, the effect is almost that of a small abstract artwork set into the front of the backpack.
As the backpack turns, more of Aurelia is gradually revealed. The design extends across the crown and upper side panels, shifting between pale mineral tones, expansive gold passages, fine veining and occasional areas of deep blue. The placement differs from one side to the other, giving the backpack a more organic character rather than creating a perfectly repeated composition.
This balance between restraint and expression is central to the design. Viewed straight on, the Aurelia Backpack is clean and composed; viewed from the side or above, considerably more of the artwork emerges. Each angle reveals a different fragment of Aurelia while leaving generous areas of solid ivory untouched.
Black zips, straps, mesh and hardware provide a crisp structural counterpoint to the lighter palette. Their contrast gives definition to the silhouette and grounds the fluidity of the artwork, keeping the overall character contemporary and versatile.
The result is an artistic but highly wearable backpack — distinctive without being excessive and equally suited to work, study, commuting, travel and everyday use.
